Whose On First

This question may sound odd, but it is one we'll address. I am mindful of the comedy routine. Whose on first whats on second... anyway in your life "whose on first?" it better be Christ! He is the one who has the right to be there. Put Him first and let Him guide you in all you do. placing someone else there will bring heart ache, disappointment and stress. you may say, "my family comes first," this good but Christ should be there and then family. I say this because when you place someone or something in that position life falls apart. I am mindful of Peter when he walked on the water to Jesus. He obviously had Christ first. but then he took his eyes off Jesus and put the conditions around him first and sank. Had hekept his eyes on Jesus he would have walked right to Him. I realize that many times things or people buy for the #1 position in our life. we to many times give in and let it happen. I plead with you to step back analyze and focus on Christ and place Him in in the #1 position. I am not promiseing that life will be rosy and unstressful, far from it. What I am promising is this you will be blessed. you will be blessed so that you can bless others and be a blessing. count your blessings. you may see you have more then you thaught you had. placing Christ first is a daily task. stick to it! don't compromise! it will be tempting to do so, but don't. even if the lady or man in your life is handsome pretty and shows signs of awesomeness. don't compromise just so you can get them and keep them in your life. as I have said for along time sometimes you need to "let go and let God." because if grasp things to tight it will hurt more when God has to pry it from your fingers. if it is meant to stay it will andif not don't worry. it may return one day, just trust eh Lord and know that He will see you through it. I am mindful of the hymn that says: "through it all, I learned to trustin Jesus I learned to trust in God. I learned to depend on His name." if you need prayer ask for it. I promise you if you ask me consider it done. I will pray with you and for you.
