yes and no
Mar. 22nd, 2016 07:36 amWe all have choices to make in life. we need to say to some and no to others. I don't know if anyone realizes this, I sure didn't till now, but saying yes to something you are saying no to something at the same time. let me give an example here: you may wake up one Sunday morning and decide to stay home for no reason. guess what? you just said yes to self and your flesh and no to the Lord. you are then saying in a nut shell "no Lord I don't need to worship you today or learn from you." this is sad. life does have choices let us do our best to decide yes and stand by it and realize what we are saying no to. I got this from a book that my pastor gave me to listen to, the name of book escapes my mind at the moment. it deals with "if." I never thaught of this fact. the fact that when I say yes to something I am saying no to something else. it isn't always crystal clear. but now that I know of this fact it sheds a new light on my decision making process. we all should be in the habit of saying "yes," to the Lord more then we do and "no" to those thngs the detract us from spending time in His presence. I realize that no one is perfect, but I know this for certain that "If God is on my side nothing can stand against me." let me encourage eachof you today think about this. I am sure that you may be caught off guard as I was when I heard this statement. but I also hope that it aids yu in some way.
