come to me matthew 11 28-30

Here we see Jesus say "come to me all you who are weary and heavey laden and I will give you rest." this is amazing. He wants to take our burden from our shoulders and put on His shoulders. This gives us relief and rest. It also helps us move more easily. It is tough carrying a burden that is heavey and move easily. When the load is removed we feel a sense of relief. The Lord wants us to trust Him and know that His rest is true rest. He restores us. We just need to come to Him. He doesn't ask us to do this or that to get our rest. All He asks us to do is come. Our works won't accomplish the task but coming to Jesus and know He will not cast us away. Your past may be dark but let the sun shine in. Accept the forgiveness and move forward.
