bridge or wall

You can build bridges or walls in your life. I suggest you build bridges. Walls protect yes indeed, but they also block out possible happiness or help in times of trouble. building a bridge provides a way for others toreach you more easily. I agre that one needs to be careful, but you can be to careful. Don't try and fight your battle daily alone. You'll struggle and fall. yes you may win some battles, but not all. encircle yourself with others. others who will encourage you, pray for you and with you and support you. it is a two way street though: you need to pray with and for others. every day you need to do this. You may say "but I have to block so and so because they hurt me." I say forgive them no matter what it was. let themoff your hook and put them on the Lord's hook. He will see you get justice. it might be long time in coming but you will receive it. you can't get through a wall no matter how hard you try. but bridges usually are always crossable. encourage some one today. it could be done easily and it doesn't cost much. maybe a simple call or a letter in the mail or email maybe all it takes. just something to say "I love you and am praying for you." keepit simple. you'd be surprised how many times it will be appreciated and accdepted. when you do it don't expect anything in return. if they reply to you in thanks awesome. but if they don't, don't worry. you've done your job. some people may find it a struggle to say thanks. they may be overwhelmed. because they were not expecting these kind words. we get beat up so many times and a kind word oftenhelps to mend the wounds. I remember a time when I was at the training center of Bureau of services for the blind. A friend of mine and her boyfriend came to see me. they were in the area. they didn't stay long. but the gfact they took time to come meant a lot to me. you could even may take someone out for lunch or coffee and just chat with them. when you do truly listen. don't answer your cell or do other things. devote your complete attention them, and do't take what they say and spread it. trly listen. and offer to pray for them. I tell you the truth this will touch their heart. it may even brighten their day. we as believers to many times put up walls. it is easier to build bridges. if you have walls constructed tare them down and begin anew. when Jesus was here He had compassion on the groups of people. so we aught to have the compassion on others. love all no matter what. there is no such person that is unlovable. Jesus loves us all. it isn't easy I know, but do it anyway. You will be surprised as you see the smiles and appreciation from others. most importantly the Lord sees it and is well pleased.
